The IDEX Fellowship in Social Enterprise is a professional development program that matches mission-focused organizations with highly motivated, entry-level professionals interested in the field of social enterprise & impact investment. IDEX fellows serve with social entrepreneur partners for a 10-month professional, cultural and social immersion fellowship.
ENTERPRISE PARTNER BENEFITS
- IDEX actively recruits top college graduates from the U.S., the fellowship host country and India, the program welcomes potential young talent from across the globe.
- IDEX fellows are recruited across various disciplines (i.e. Finance, Operations, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, International Affairs, Public Health, etc.) to offer a variety of skill-sets to entrepreneurs and are matched to meet specific needs of enterprise partners.
- IDEX fellow’s project requirements are developed in collaboration with our enterprise partners to ensure fellows address the needs as identified by local entrepreneurs. IDEX fellows receive on the ground training to ensure they are well versed to understand local market and cultural conditions.
- IDEX fellows work full-time (up to 35 hours per week) with social enterprise partners.
- IDEX fellows focus on market-based, sustainable interventions that can be developed and implemented throughout the length of the program and sustained by the enterprise post-fellowship.
